The trip takes approximately 3 hours. During the drive, we will appreciate beautiful Andean landscapes and agricultural fields.
- 08:30 a.m. approx. | Arrival in Acomayo: We arrive at the picturesque town of Acomayo. Here, you will have free time to use the facilities or buy last-minute snacks.
On the Way to the Rinconada Community
- 09:00 a.m. | Transfer to the Rinconada community: We will continue the journey for an additional 30 minutes. We will arrive at the trailhead at 12,467 ft (3,800 m) above sea level.
The Trek: Views of the Apurimac Canyon
- 09:30 a.m. | Start of the trek: The professional guide will provide a briefing before we begin. We will start the hike with panoramic views of the Apurimac Canyon.
