Itinerario
- 05:00 a.m. | Cusco Pickup: We begin the adventure early from your hotel. We travel toward the town of Cachora (9,186 ft).
- Capuliyoc Lookout: Here, we enjoy a breathtaking view of the Apurímac Canyon, one of the deepest canyons on the continent.
- Descent into the Canyon: We gradually descend toward Chiquisca and finally to Playa Rosalina (5,905 ft).
- Campsite: We will spend the night next to the sacred Apurímac River.

The Great Ascent: This is the most demanding day of the journey. We depart from the bottom of the canyon toward Santa Rosa.

Biodiversity: We pass through dry and cloud forests. With luck, you may spot the iconic Spectacled Bear.

Arrival at Marampata: We will enjoy the first panoramic view of Choquequirao. We will take a gentle hike to appreciate the sunset over the citadel.

Full Discovery: We dedicate the day to exploring the Inca city. We will visit the Main Plaza, temples, and the famous terraces featuring llama figures.

Living History: Only 30% of the complex has been excavated. The guide will explain the hydraulic systems and residential sectors.

Descent: In the afternoon, we begin the return trip toward the Chiquisca campsite.

Natural Connection: We descend once again toward the Apurímac River. This is a day to rest and enjoy the natural surroundings.
