Pintura mural barroca en el templo de Andahuaylillas

Andahuaylillas

The 17th-century Church of San Pedro Apóstol in Andahuaylillas is known as the “Sistine Chapel of the Americas” for its ceilings and walls covered in murals, gold leaf and Cusco School paintings. It’s about 40 km from Cusco and is part of the Andean Baroque Route, with its own admission fee.
